How do you know if you have a serious mold problem?  You may be able to smell mold, but you can’t always see it.  Mold usually grows in unseen places – beneath carpet, inside walls, and above ceiling tiles – where it can secretly fester until it takes over your entire building.   If you suspect your home or business may already have mold, or you are worried about the possible dangers that mold can bring, then we can provide an inspection to determine if you have mold and how serious the problem is.  Considering the disastrous effects of mold growing out of control, it makes sense to be proactive and be aware of the problem before it starts.

Mold Remediation

What originally causes mold?  Mold needs water to grow.  If you have mold, it is a sign that water and moisture are leaking into your building somewhere.  Without correcting the source of the problem, mold will eventually return even after remediation.  Moisture can get into buildings in a number of ways – leaky plumbing, doors, windows, and walls, HVAC ducts, insulated basement foundations and ducts – and it can be difficult to identify the source of the moisture.  Our experienced staff, familiar with building structures, will conduct an inspection to find the source of the moisture so that mold can be prevented from ever growing.

How can water and moisture be treated?  All buildings are different and have unique moisture and air quality needs.  Some businesses require a certain amount of water to operate and so moisture cannot be completely eliminated.  For this reason, we develop and adapt independent programs to address the moisture leaks in your building that result in mold.  By adapting to our developed program, moisture can be managed and controlled so that it does not create and contribute to mold growth.
